Use the following steps to push Cintoo annotations to Autodesk BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as Issues.
- Notes and Issues created in Cintoo can be pushed to BIM 360/ACC.
- Private Notes created in Cintoo will not be pushed to BIM 360/ACC. They are meant for private collaboration inside Cintoo only.
1. Link Cintoo project to the BIM 360/ACC project:
- In the Report Tab, select Integrations
- In Integrations under Autodesk, select Link project...
- If not logged into BIM 360/ACC from Cintoo already in the same session, please login to your Autodesk account and to authorize Cintoo Cloud to access the hubs and projects:
- Once signed into BIM 360/ACC, click Link project... under Autodesk again, which will then prompt the following window to select the hub and the project in BIM 360/ACC:
- Once the project has been selected, it will appear at the top left of the Report Tab, and a grey Autodesk logo will be displayed next to any Cintoo Notes or Issues listed:
2. Push Cintoo Notes or Issues to BIM 360/ACC:
- It's possible to either push your Notes or Issues, or those created by other Cintoo team members as well.
- Pushing Notes and Issues on behalf other Cintoo team members is only possible if those team members have already logged in to Autodesk from Cintoo, and have authorized Cintoo to access their hubs and projects, in the same session.
- Notes and Issues can be pushed to BIM 360/ACC one by one or all at once.
- Pushing one by one is done by clicking on the greyed Autodesk icon associated with each Note or Issue. The icon will then start blinking until it becomes stable and colored:
- Pushing all Notes and Issues at once is done by clicking on Integrations, and then clicking Link Annotations to Project Name under Autodesk.
- Pushing one by one is done by clicking on the greyed Autodesk icon associated with each Note or Issue. The icon will then start blinking until it becomes stable and colored:
3. Accessing Cintoo Notes and Issues in BIM 360/ACC:
Clicking the Autodesk logo next to the BIM 360/ACC project name at the top left of the Report Tab in Cintoo Cloud opens the linked BIM 360/ACC project.
Clicking the colored Autodesk logo next to a Note or Issue listed in the Report Tab in Cintoo will open the associated BIM 360/ACC Issue.
The following information included in Cintoo Notes is mapped to the Autodesk Issues:
- Title
- Description
- Owner/Issue Creator
The following information included in Cintoo Issues is mapped to the Autodesk Issues.
- Title
- Description
- Assigned To
- Due Date
- Owner/Issue Creator
- For Issues created in Cintoo, in order for the assignees to be mapped to the Autodesk Issue, the assignee must have logged into Autodesk and must have authorized Cintoo Cloud to access their hubs and projects, in the same session.
- If not, the assignee will not be mapped to the Autodesk Issue, but all other attributes will be.
In the Autodesk Issue Details, copy + paste the hyperlink contained in the Description field to open the associated Note or Issue in Cintoo.
- For the hyperlink to work, a user must be a member of the Cintoo project in which the associated Note or Issue was created.
4. Edit or delete project links:
In the Cintoo Report Tab, under Integrations, you have the option to edit or delete project links:

Editing a link will change the destination hub and project in the Autodesk account for new Notes or Issues to be pushed. Notes and Issues that have been pushed already will remain linked to the previous hub and project in BIM 360/ACC.
Deleting a link will delete the links to all Notes and Issues already pushed. They will then get a greyed Autodesk icon, and they will need to be pushed again to a new project in BIM 360/ACC.
Deleting a link in Cintoo does not affect existing Autodesk Issues. Any Notes or Issues synchronized from Cintoo to BIM 360/ACC before the link is deleted will still exist as Issues in the Autodesk project.
