This article explains difference between all kinds of measurements available and gives a quick overview on how to manage them in Cintoo VR Experience application.

How to Open Measurements Menu
Press Tools controller thumbstick to open VR tools menu.
To activate measurements, click on Measurements, green color will indicate that measurements are visualized.
Types of Measurements
In Measurements menu find different ways of acquiring measurements:
- Simple distance – distance from one point to another
- Local reference - used to get aligned measurements between two points, showing distances and angles
- World reference - same as Local reference, but world aligned
- Horizontal - strictly horizontal measurements
- Vertical - strictly vertical measurements
How to Place a Measurement
Pick the appropriate measurement type.
This action enables measurement placement mode which is done using Tools controller:
- click on X or Y button on Tools controller to generate a gizmo representing location of the measurement point
- move gizmo forward and back by pressing on top (Y) and bottom (X) buttons on Tools controller
- move Tools controller to change the direction of movement
- once satisfied with the positioning press Tools controller trigger
- repeat the same process for the second point
- Validate message with measurement value is opened. Click on it with Tools controller trigger to save the measurement
- if Grip trigger is pushed on Tools controller positioning is cancelled
Once placed measurement would be visible in 3D space as long as Measurement menu remains green in Tools controller menu.
Interaction with Existing Measurements

Dialogue box appears that allows to either delete a measurement (Delete measurement) or close the dialogue box (Push back). It also contains all the information about a measurement.
