Crop Tool

Follow the steps below to use Crop tool in 3D View.

1. Open 3D View.

2. Click on Crop icon on a sidebar.

3. Click Open Crop Tool in Crop List window.

4. In Crop Tool, make sure crop box visibility setting is toggled ON and use gizmos in 3D View to adjust crop area.

Crop area can also be adjusted with either X/Y/Z sliders in Crop Tool. Values of the cropped volume are displayed on top and at the bottom of the sliders.

5. Click Add button to save crop view to Crop List.

 

6. Saved crop can be renamed by hovering over the crop view in Crop List and clicking Edit.

Enter a new name for a crop and click Save.

7. Saved crops' parameters can be modified by clicking on a crop from Crop List, adjusting crop area and clicking Update in Crop Tool.

8. To reset crop area to its default extents, click Reset in Crop Tool and proceed with re-adjusting crop area.
